Colleges of Optometry Teaching Advanced Procedures

In order to become licensed in Louisiana, you must have graduated from an Optometry school that teaches all the elements of surgery and laser surgery that are required by the Louisiana Board of Optometry Examiners, or you must have successfully completed the courses in surgery and laser surgery as taught by the Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry.

As of August, 2017, the Schools and Colleges of Optometry listed below have met the curriculum requirements of the Louisiana Board, and graduates of these schools may become licensed in Louisiana:
